Knowing and Indentifying The Signs and Symptoms of Cancer
Successful treatment of cancer goes hand in hand with early diagnosis. Knowing what your body is like in its normal state will make it easier to discover any possible problems so you can tell your doctor in its earliest stages. Some changes that happen are specifically indigenous to the onset of cancer.
Any odd lumps that may appear on your body do need to be reported and knowing your body will help you spot them sooner. Lumps that are cancerous may not be painful. Having any lumps checked quickly is a way to catch something that could be a danger but most lumps are not related to cancer.
Experiencing breathlessness, hoarseness and persistent coughing can be the result of several different health issues like inflammation or infections but there is always the outside chance it is from lung cancer. To be safe it is best to report these symptoms if they have persisted for more than a couple weeks. The first thing you should is call your doctor if you have cancer symptoms or lung cancer symptoms.
Stool that changes in color to something that is very red in color, contains blood or is uncommonly dark needs to be checked. Bleeding that happens without a known cause is a signal that something is very wrong and it must be seen by your physician. When the bleeding is from the nose it is usually not due to cancer but it is still important to consult your physician. Always consult a medical professional if you have cervical cancer symptoms.
Having moles does not equal having cancer but there is always a danger so it should be reported. If you are losing weight and do not know why it is best to have a consultation with your health care professional to be sure it is not cancer related. The earlier you discover any potential problems with your body and seek a diagnosis the better chances you have with finding a cure.
