Loan To Keep Me Warm
It was that time of year again, time to light the fire. I had had the fire cleaned out twice a year since I moved into the house, so lit it without a second thought. I had just got cosy when I heard a fire engine stop what seemed to be right outside my house, the next minute I had a knock at the door it was a fireman. He explained that someone had called to say my chimney was on fire, I was shocked as I hadn’t even noticed.
They put it out and advised me to get it cleaned once again. I did this with another company but again a month later the same thing happened. I was advised to get in touch with a Chimney Builder. That week the builder came to look at the chimney he said that there was a crack in the clay liner and said that he would fix it for me. A couple of days later he called back with a quote, I also got a couple more but they were all quoting the same price so I went with the guy I saw as he was very nice.
I didn’t have that amount of money just lying around so I needed to apply for a loan. I didn’t know what kind of loan would be best to get, I didn’t need a huge amount of money and didn’t want to pay it back over a long time. There are so many loans to choose from but because I own my own house I went for a small secured loan. The money was with me quite quickly and I was able to pay the builder and finally I can enjoy warmth in the house again.
