A Loan For A New Beginning

I am an elderly lady. I have my own property and was once well off as I had a good pension, but since my husband died the house had got scruffy. I needed a new kitchen and carpets throughout the house. I also need someone to come in and freshen up the walls with a lick of paint. I had money put away but did not want to use it all, it’s always good to have money for a rainy day.

I decided that I needed to find out if I could get a loan somehow. I didn’t know what kind of loan to go for but thankfully my grandson had been working in finance and said he would come along with me to discuss my options. Because I own my own home and I am on a good pension I could qualify for a secured loan. I didn’t need too much and decided I would get something I could pay back over 5 years.

The loan company agreed to lend me the money and my house is now like a show home. I am young and spritely for my age and I now have coffee and cake mornings around mine all the time.  Well at my age how else would I be able to meet new and exciting people.
